Hello

I'm Chris from usually snowy NH ...... built the ultimate game room recently, so I needed a good set of poker chips. Started collecting the Casino Aztar's and have gathered up a decent sized set (still buying more though)...pic in the pron section. Figured I would say hi. I am an avid pinball collector in much of my spare time :) The bumper pool table has a poker top to it for playing.

You, my friend, are an addict!! :D Welcome to the forums. Which one are you going to sell first to support your newly acquired chip addiction?

Holy shit what an awesome room. How and who carried/assembled all those machines in your attic/top floor? I hope you a have a crane sitting in the backyard and the ability to easily remove some windows.

LOL...... its only 5 steps up from the mudroom and I had them make an extra wide opening. Usually I bring them in on a dolly, but hired professional movers to bring them up from the old basement arcade to the new one above the garage. I did use some of my pinball money to buy the chips ....... got most of them from Jim but have been looking for more everywhere else. Worst games to move were the driving games (750lbs each) and the slate bumper pool table (400 lbs). I carried the chips up :)

Welcome!

Guinness used to be big into refurbishing old arcade machines. I also have a good friend who is into that scene. Welcome to your latest money sink!

Chris is actually the guy who initially got me into the hobby maaaaany years ago. I didn't know he joined this site and when I saw hello from NH I was like "hey"... then I was like "oh....". Chris is a legend. The most kid at heart person I've ever met and 1/3rd of our bad movie club (if you remember CT's old bad movie thread, all my posts were from movies watched between us and one other).. Hey Chris!

Welcome to PCF Chris!! Awesome game room! I'd spend day after day after day immersed in all those games... Pinball junkie here as well... ;)

Welcome to PokerChipForum. Awesome game room!

Welcome aboard Chris!! Love the room!

Welcome aboard! Any friend of guinness, well...

My game room is much lamer. 2 pins (Twilight Zone and ST:TNG) no vids or dome hockey or table shuffleboard.

I met Chris in Guiness' basement at my first NH meetup years ago. He's quite a legend in the local pinball scene (as you can tell). Hope to see him more often at the MA/NH games.

Welcome to PCF Chris!

My friend who is into the arcade/pinball scene keeps trying to get me to get an old Data East Maverick pinball cabinet for my game room to fit the motif.

I'm not a big fan of Data East. I think their hardware feels clunky compared to all the others, but I agree the theme works.

Super Awesome....Oh and Welcome to PCF were the sun shines and poker chips are flying around......

That is fricking awesome.

I love ST:TNG pinball. Was really close to buying one myself, but it's got an oversized body, and I couldn't fit through the stairwell.

My all time favorite pinball machines are:
1. Addams Family Values
2. Star Trek: The Next Generation
3. Dr. Who

My 2 favorite pins are the ones I have. Neither one in working condition right now. :-(

My plan was full museum quality restoration with Christopher Hutchins, but at $10k per machine, I'm starting to get cold feet, as I want to buy a condo in florida, and a lakehouse in NH. THe restoration has to wait. I should get them serviced locally.

MaxB, got a referral to someone who will come to Dover NH to do the work there?

I don't know anyone that makes house calls, but Allan Davidson does board work with quick turn around time (mail him the boards). He fixed my Alien Poker machine (because I can't play a game that doesn't say "Royal Flush" or "I deal")

Welcome on PCF,
superb gameroom,
do you know a forum for pinball collectors ?
