Help with foreign machine/plug (2 Viewers)

I recently bought this slot/gumball machine. The money sign has the fancy L (as pictured.) Quarters actually fit and the wheel turns so it’s gotta be close to that size. But I’m not sure that’s the currency it was developed for.

I’m also trying to find what country it’s from and what kind of plug I might need to see if it works. Any help is greatly appreciated!

That’s a GBP symbol, so UK pounds sterling. I have no idea about that plug though! You might need a dongle.

That is indeed a Pound symbol with the single hash mark, but the words elsewhere on the machine are Italian and the Italian Lira symbol was similar to the British Pound, except with two hash marks.
