I host a weekly .50/1 cash game and need about 500 chips for my new set I want (a custom ceramic set from Br Pro poker 39mm)
Im looking for some help with designs for a set that would be for .50,$1,$5,$10,$25,$100

Some ideas I had for designs were mash up of different br pro poker designs already I like the side profile of the tiki kings with there diagonal hashes and I like the idea of having a casino style looking chip

My whole group of people love the Buffalo Bills and also SpongeBob (especially SpongeBob, I’d love a cool and awesome design of chips that had a SpongeBob theme (like Bikini bottom casino and resort or something lol)

If anyone would be any help in maybe thinking of some design ideas or either theme but also

I’m open for any design ideas and would be willing to see any type of designs people could come up with, I would also be willing to pay someone if I chose there design they made

Hello I host a weekly .50/1 cash game and and looking to make a custom SpongeBob set of chips as we all love SpongeBob

I was thinking and thought it would be cool with like SpongeBob characters with poker themes And each having there own chips…I would be looking To get .50,$1,$5,$10,$25,$100 chips making a 500pc set

Any help at all would be appreciated as I don’t know really where or how to design and also love having extra input and my thoughts of how I want them to look, thank you all

Something like the Mario chipset (as recently sold here) but in Spongebob? I suppose that could work would it be themed for children, adults or generic? colors and characters for each piece, denominated/NCV/$ symbol or not? What colors/colour scheme do you want? edge spots or no? writing on the border or no? , What is your budget (most important)? etc...

Exactly… same concept like the Mario set, it’s themed for adults and I had some ideas already with using SpongeBob font for the denoms and having the .50 chip be Squidward with a turquoise ish blue for the chip color with a picture of Squidward smiling or smirking at the table with stacks for chips in front of him with a brown edge spots to match his shirt color just on the sides and not the top with a picture of a krusty krab hat In the edge spots, The $1 dollar would be SpongeBob yellow chip with SpongeBob sitting at a poker table with some cards in his hand and some chips in front…on the sides some red edge spots and inside are jellyfish (or if red wouldn’t work well then maybe some white edge spots with the jellyfish) for the $5 chip could be Mr.Krabs a red chip with him on front with him with money and coins from the show and maybe him in front of a casino or the Krusty krab or something and on the sides are a light blue like his shirt edge spots with money inside of them, for the $25 dollar chip would be Patrick with a pink chip with him on front and smiling at the poker table with some chips and edge spots green like his shorta and krabby patty in side of them and for the $100 would be plankton a dark greenish chip like him looking mischievous and at the table and with yellow edge spots with the secret formula inside of them

Just and idea and I’ve been working on them but don’t really know how to design so I’m trying to figure it out….my price range is about 5-6 hundred for the chips

So Ceramics will likely give you the best results and given you are likely going to want higher resolution on your chips I'd suggest working with BRpro or ABC cards and supplies both site supporters that produce good products. I have China cards mold and the North American product always looks high quality in ceramics and with higher image results if that is the goal.

I'd be careful with the quarters and hundreds to make sure the colors aren't too similar. BR Pro will let you do different graphics on each side so your quarters could have him smiling one side and frowning on the other.

who could I talk to that might be able to assist me in the design process and getting the chips to the drawing board and design process and get some mockups done? i appreciate all the help and hope i find more people willing to assist in the process :)

I believe @rjdev7 hired an artist from Fiverr to adapt the Mario characters, maybe reach out to him for more info. Those came out great.

That @rjdev7 has all the great ideas! :sneaky:

Dirtyy, if you plan to buy from BRpro they have design services and will help you with chip designs. You should have a little more direction in what you want to do. I'm not sure if they will do much in the way of actual art, you'd have to ask them, they are typically great at communication.

You might check out this link New Members Start Here I would suggest you change the .50 to .25 and skip the 10 denom and look for 600 chip set.

You can likely meet your budget BUT that wouldn't include custom artwork

If you do a plaque that money image would be great for that

Also remember you're working with 39 or 43mm, there is only so much room and a lot of detail will be lost

What you can't really see in this chip but can in the artwork is the green mist around the snake, or the 'Loki' name on the bottom of his jacket, or the Loki symbol on his lapel. Also notice in these super close pictures the floor is based on the character and there is intricate detail in the white chips jacket, you can't even see it.

This is still close up but you can already see how you miss any detail, like the floorboards in the white chip.
