I planed to relabel some Paulson Chips hotstamped Fun Nites and will so this with Labels from Gear...
Do you think it is possible to do or is this a bad idea on hotstamps...???

If you really want to do this right and don't mind spending the cash to do so, send them to @Gear to have this done professionally.

If not, and you cannot do this yourself then I would not do this project.

He can milled them too?

I've tried the scraping with a micro chisel and have used a dremel tool to remove the high spots left by the hot stamping process. Results were ok. Could still see the hotstamping impression after the label was applied & could only use un-laminated labels to avoid spinners. I agree the best way to do this is to send them off to @Gear. I've since moved on to diy milling with a router bit and drill press. Very happy with the results thus far. Not quite @Gear quality, but good enough for me.

Is it better to relabel Chips with a Label on it? For example Horseshoe Set's? And then how would it works, only put the new Label over it?:cautious:

FYP. Yes it is. With a smooth (not textured) inlay, you will have a nice flat surface to work with. Just make sure the label is un-laminated to avoid potential spinners.

Edit: Also make sure you have a deep enough recess to accept a label. Mint/excellent condition chips would be ideal, but you can still get by with casino used.

All right Sir, sounds good...;)

I labeled some River City $100s that had been canceled with a starbust hotstamp.
I used a chisel-like X-acto blade (#18) and it worked pretty well.
I'd take some pictures for you but I don't have my chips with me.

Yeah all right, i have to think about it very well... Maybe i am looking for some Label Inlay Paulson and relabeld them... Because if i had to Ship all Chips to Canada and back and have to pay the Work for milling it will be cost me much more i think...:)

Gear tolds me, for some help in Design i should ask here other Member in PCF, who can help me if i Start the Project? :whistling::whistle: :whistling:
