Got samples from BRPro. Love them. But... My 500 chip is washed out. Muted. Kinda blah. I published in PDF from an RGB source (Publisher). When I've tried using CMYK color codes what I print using my Brother CMYK printer still comes out Muted. And kinda blah.
Any advice out there as to good combinations of (x, x, x, x) numbers for assigning CMYK values for a vibrant purple or even pink that others have found has worked for them?

Anything between 25,100,0,0 and 50,100,0,0. You can add a bit of black to make it darker, but will lose vibrance. You’ll never get the real rich bright purple using only 4 color process, as cyan limits the blues in the mix.
You can play around with some CMYK sliders here:

Note: since the colors shown are rgb, their true CMYK equivalent will appear duller.

Kristil has been great to work with, offering excellent advice and working to tweak the colors. I'm fine with the purple being a little "off" from what the RGB color looks like on a monitor. Who really needs a T500 chip anyway, amirite?
