Trying to decide on the best shape for frac labels for an IG cash set while I wait in Gear's queue and as usual can't make up my mind.
Rough mockups below (the size of the text in the inlay is a little bit off, and of course they would say 25c instead of $5, but the shape should be about right).

It was scallop and hub but now I think gear is in the running. Thinking of excluding the scallop since it looks similar to the $1 plus I’m adding a 5c chip so gotta keep that in mind too.

So ultimately I think gear for the 25c and hub for the 5c until I change my mind again of course.

Yeah I only have to decide on 1 fortunately. I use my arias for anything below .25/.25 so don't need a nickel with these. I'm deciding between scallop, cam, gear and hub. I was leaning scallop, but as you said gear is growing on me when i see it on the mockup.

One option not noted in the poll:

None of the above.

Do a round label.

Round-shaped-round-shaped round

And yes, I know that round is a shape lol

Added the poll option.
The 100 is actually an apple instead of a round but I get your point.

Ah didn’t catch the shaped $100 while looking on my phone.

That changes my opinion then. I’d go for hub or scallop. Really only hub. Scallop is close to star and I’d want every shape to be distinct.

To me hub is a classic inlay shape vs the other options
