Finishing up my Bellagio tribute set, and trying to decide on a frac design.
Since my favorite chip, by far, is the original $10:

Here are the options:

This set has no place for the $10, so I figured I'd incorporate it as a frac. The decision to keep it as I love it, or simplify it to make a better progression is tormenting me.
Any input will be greatly appreciated.!

I love the Original 8V chip, but I'm concerned the frac and $20 are going to look very similar if these are cards molds/ceramics... I'd maybe go with the $25 instead of $20. Progression wise a 4V would also work without losing the feel or making the frac the most complex chip.

I hear you...I wanted to use the $20 for the cash set and then the $25 as part of a T25-based tournament set.

I've thought about dirty stacks, but the original $10 and $20 didn't really suffer, is that because they're neon colors? Maybe cards mold ceramics will make these 2 chips look too similar?

Part of me wish that the original $10 can be the new $20 and have another fracs option to pair with the new line-out so I choose 3

Just realize I not really helping in picking out a frac :x
problem is, I love the original $20 too....and I'm trying to keep is as faithful to the original set, within reason.
This is tough.

Id use that as the frac and the 8v as the $20, the OG $20 is balls

If you are going to T100k you wont need T25. Just have a T100 base set

The originals are "Orange" $10 and Arc Yellow $20 I think. They'd never be in play in the same game really. $10s for $20/40 and $30/60 games, $20s for $40/80 and $80/$160 probably.

Progression-Wise the $20 would make a great frac, maybe err on the yellow side for the base color and use the Orange 8V for the $20 in a nice saturated orange base.

“I only keep 3 racks of $5s in my sets. That way, I can get more $20s in play.” — @JeepologyOffroad, to me yesterday.

 :ROFLMAO:
I use a similar formula as well, lol. That way I get different denoms into play. I just need to figure out how to get some 500s into my .5/.10 NL game.

I’m doing a small order for myself to start, but will likely offer the art in a group-buy in the future.
Nice, I’m looking forward to seeing them completed! The 1998 Bellagio’s date one of my favorite chips so I’m glad you’ve made a set of them.

My sample is just misssing the $25 to be complete.

I voted something else. I played 1/2 and 2/5 back in the day with these chips, obviously with 1s and 5s mostly. I remember seeing some 25s in play too, not sure about the 100s. These chips all have the 1/8" spots with 2 colors (except the hundo), and I'd like to see the quarter fall in line better with this pattern.

If I had to pick an option, it would be 2 because of the progression.

Edit to say that I love the 10 way more than the 20 if I were changing anything.

How about a butterscotch frac with white spots, or a dark color 1/8 spots? Maroon/chocolate?

I agree, the two colors are close enough to maybe cause dirty stacks. Modern Bellagio or old Mirage design is not too bad either.
