Hi Guys, first post here. I have ordered a set from a website we used 10 years ago but I must say their service/communication leaves a lot to be desired and if I can find a place to order quality casino like clay chips, I will cancel the current order with my credit card company.

I am looking for around 1300-1500 chips. I am open to a good set of Paulson top hat and canes but would need someone to make some sticker inlays for me.

I am also open to just some great quality brand new chips that I can customize with our card room artwork.

I do have artwork ready to go or at least proofs of artwork.

Thank you for your help!

Hello and welcome. CPC is your only option for custom clay chips. You can relabel a set of Paulsons. Some more details on what exactly your looking for would be helpful. Cash or tourney chips?

Hey Phish! Thank you for your response. As of now, yes, mainly because my only experience is clay. The set that we are replacing were called "The Great Wall" I am unsure of the original manufacturer of these but we were very happy with them.
Looking for chips for Cash Game - The order that we are not receiving any communication on is around $1,400.00

No problem at all. Not familiar with The Great walls chips unfortunately. A cash set of Paulsons to relabel will be a lot easier to get and much cheaper than a tourney set. The higher denoms, $1000 and up can get pretty expensive. “The Chip Room” runs a sale here every couple of months and you can get a set for for roughly $1/chip. CPC has some stock chips that are around $2/each and customs would be a bit more than that. That’s pretty much it when it comes to clay.

Great Wall chips were a China Clay offering done by Palm Imports back in the day. Much akin to the 8v China clay chips seen here from time to time. Chips of that caliber are available fromApache poker chips, a vendor here. You may want to look at samples they have available.

Welcome!

The short answer is: a LOT has changed in the last decade, and $1/chip for clay is unlikely after the cost of relabeling -- even for terribly used Paulsons in the least desirable mold.

Some alternatives: apachepokerchips.com has China clay selections, or you can spend a few minutes searching the forum and you'll find some substitutes including high quality plastic customs (search "Tina"), ceramics (search "BRPro"), and a whole host of niche options that come and go.

The other option is to increase your budget a bit and look for some recent "The Chip Room" forum finds (Paulsons from shuttered casinos) such as "Jack Cincy", "Majestic Star", and "HSI" (Horseshoe Indiana).

A user named @Gear creates incredible labels, as replacements or over-labels (but the wait is quite long, I hear).

Good luck on your search!

I am!!!

If you already have the artwork together, have you considered going with custom ceramics from @BR Pro Poker ? At the quantity you are talking about here, that would be 78 cents a chip ......
For now, the guys won’t go with ceramic…. Too old school! Thank you for your message!

Theses guys pretty much summed it up.

So what part of Ky?

I’m from Louisville and there are a few in or near Louisville.

Welcome to PCF
Hey thanks!! Got a buddy headed to Louisville to play stud right now! I am in Lexington!

Thank you so much for the detailed reply. I am leaning towards trying to buy a full set of the chips needed from someone who may offer anything TPC. Thanks again!

You can also put up a wanted ad in the classifieds, plenty of people here have sets they might be willing to let go of.
Thank you!!
