Hi there, I recently managed to complete my collection of the old style James Bond Casino Royale poker chips from cartamundi. I love the weight and general texture. The UK is tough to buy quality chips in. I had some from 20 years ago but spend time trawling eBay to flesh it out. Now I have a bunch of spares.

Thanks, are Abbiati casino grade chips? They seem to deliver custom orders with RFiD tracking, that may be out of my budget!

Yes they are casino grade. Out of the high end plastic manufacturers only Abbiati and Matsui sell to the average Joe. Get some samples first, worry about the budget later… Seriously though, on the 2nd hand market you can get some pretty good deals, at least compared to what Paulson chips go for. Still much more than what the Cartamundi chips cost, of course. But you may decide the bump in quality is worth it.

I started with a Casino Royale set which I got for my 18th Birthday (over 10yrs+ ago…). I made it just high stakes which I thought was cool at the time (just $25k and $100k chips with a pile of $500k & $1m plaques).

Now I’m loving the THC chips on here, but my bank balance isn’t.
