Hello newb here (2 Viewers)

Newb. Been collecting years. You guys be in awe at my collection. Maybe not. Anyways what’s the diff between from “secondary” and “primary” I see that a lot here. I’m mostly on eBay. Nothern California card rooms they call me the Goat. Peace and love and hola!
@kmccormick100 Do you know someone they call the Goat?

Welcome! Pics or it didn’t happen ;)

Welcome to the forum, as far as your question. Many Casinos have back up chips incase the primary or normal use chips are compromised. As in if they find countrrgit in play it if someone were to steal chips off a table and run. Usually the inlay is the same just the edge spots differ from the normal in play chips.

Because these chips rarely or never see play, they are usually mint and more desirable than the regular used chips. When a casino shuts down and sells their chips, usually both sets are acquired and being in better condition usually the secondaries bring more money!!

Hope that helps!! Looking forward to seeing the collection. Fellow chipper Ben

Wow I never knew that. Thanks again! These are not my prized singles but I have lots to show later. Lived in vegas and harvested singles a few decades ago when I played daily.

Ps. Concord is not NorCal. Lol. Thats SoCal to me. =)

I'm an avid collector of the chipco brand. Love em but don’t tell anyone.

Tks all.

I Have one of these somewhere with no holes drilled in it. I heard it’s from a robbery potentially???

That's not a hole, its a "crystal" :) Personally never heard of a robbery associated with the Crystal Park chips, sounds like it would be a good story though!

Story is if u have one without the hole it’s $$$ to someone - they had to ditch these when a bunch were stolen. It’s assumed bulk non holes could be part of the robbery. Just what I was told many year ago. Tks for the love all
