Checking in from Southern California. Long time reader, starting to research more/figure out what kind of set i want to build. Infrequent NL player in SoCal/Vegas. Play a couple of home cash games/occasional 1 table tournament. Am probably looking at building a cash set out of something ex-LV casino, will be interesting to learn and read more about some people’s experience, costs and time it took them to do so.

Ex-Vegas is tough because they get destroyed when no longer in use.

You could easily do a Paulson mixed set and even make them look like old Vegas with a relabel from @Gear.

What's your budget? You're trying the build a one-table cash set? How many players, how many rebuys and what are your typical stakes and games?
