Howdy, just found the site and getting back into playing and chips. Started playing around 5 with my Granddad and family. Played mostly dealer's choice games growing up and until moving to the D/FW area and finding a couple of regular games. Played in those for several years, even ran a charity tournament every month for about 4 years. Then had a kiddo and priorities changed.

Decided a while back that I needed to start playing again so talked some of the other dads into starting up a semi-regular game. Guess we will see how it goes.

Welcome! What part of DFW? I'm in Lake Highlands.

Welcome @brewdawg epic screen name! I think you and @CraigT78 are going to get along great!! Any epic chips collection pictures from years past? We definitely like pictures of chips round these parts!

Thanks everyone. I will have to see if I have any of my chip collection pics stored anywhere. Only have 3 sets (Nevada Jacks - T25 Tourney Set, Samurai - T5 Tourney set, and an unopened Casino cash set - can't remember the casino and have never played with them).

For those in the area that asked, live in McKinney.

What's the significance of your screen name? Are you a homebrewer?

No, it actually came from a combination of a nickname I picked up in Alaska and a softball team I played on.

When I first arrived in Alaska my luggage did not arrive so I called the airline. They said let us investigate. Called me a little later and said they showed that my luggage had arrived in Brewster Alaska. I asked my best friend where Brewster was and he said he had never heard of it. I told the airline we didnt know where Brewster AK was, and they said it had arrived at my scheduled destination, BRW, Brewster AK. I said, well, BRW is Barrow, AK, and my luggage is not here. Needless to say the Brewster nickname for me stuck and I had only been in my new town for 2 hours.

Fast-forward a few years and I am back in Texas and we get a softball team together and name it the Brew-Ha's. Some of the guys knew about Brewster, and for some reason started calling me Brewdawg and it just stuck.
