New to posting on this site.
Have always had a love of poker since I was a child, and my dad showed me how to play at a young age.
Recently, I wanted to upgrade my poker game buy buying a real cash set (Dunes Commemorative Cash set) while I was out in Vegas with my wife.
I saw this community as a good place to start to expand my knowledge of poker chips and to discuss poker in general, as my area has very few places to play outside of home games.

Yeah man, I have been to Burlington quite a bit. Lots of buddies used to live in West Burlington. I made a post earlier on the home games/ meetups forum. But I’m assuming you’d know best, do you know of any home games out here anymore? I haven’t played home games here apart from the occasional home game I host at my house. Been looking for a more consistent group of players. As you know choices for playing in this area are few and far between.

I don't really know of any home games here, besides my group. We play 5¢/10¢ mixed games, once in a while just NLHE. I've been trying to find guys to play .25/.50 or maybe 1/1. I think Catfish Bend is trying to kill the poker room, but it seems all the OMC's don't want to do anything outside the casino.
