Hi Everyone
I have been lurking for 18 monthes but never posted anything.

I was happy to find this site, I thought I was the only one that had this weird love affair with poker chips!

I always tried to find the best home poker chips, hated the dice chips that everyone seemed to use... and that started it all for me.

I have 3 "sets" of tournament chips and well over 100 sample chips, all kinds, from the cheap to some real clay.

I have some cheapos, some ceramic EPT chips (sweet) and a nice set of "china clays" - these are my tournament sets....

Pre=pandemic, we had a weekly game going, from 10-20 players... we recently picked it back up, bi-weekly, 10-20 players again... i mention this because i saw some others post about it, it has definitely has changed in how easy it was to get players..

Maybe after labour day things get better?

I keep an eye on the classified section, wow, this place is sick, amazing sets, would love to be able to afford all of it..

I will stop rambling now....

: )

Welcome ! Love Montreal, especially the awesome Playground Poker you guys have.

It really is great. only 20 minutes from me! Haven't gone in a while because of the pandemic but they are slowly opening up, they have cash games going now and should continue to add over the next little while.

I will guess you are from the GTA?

Welcome!

Pics?
I wanted to take better picks but, this is what I have (EPT)

I am having a game tomorrow, I will be able to take better pictures then and update this post
but i just bought these, this week:

I've always liked the look of those EPTs. Ceramic isn't my thing, but they are dynamic.

Hopefully you'll be able to get some $25s and more $1s to complete your Jacks.

its a marathon not a sprint... lol. Part of the fun is completing, sourcing chips... Jacks seem to be pretty available... comes down to price mostly.

Ceramics are nice, the picture doesn't do them justice, the colors really pop. I prefer traditional chips as well but these are great as a change of pace

more pics, these are the two sets i used mostly for our home tournaments, very nice chips, positive feedback... and then the players get used to them, any chips of lower quality would now get comments like... where are the nice chips? why are we playing with these cheapos? lol... they are spoiled... ::D
