Hey Everyone. I found your site the other day when it was mentioned in a YouTube video and I can’t seem to to look at anything else. I haven’t played any poker since college and that was always really casual games with close friends.

I decided I wanted to start playing again just as a way to get out of the house and spend times with buddies but I couldn’t find my old set of dice chips. So naturally I went to google to find a decent travel set.

Well after 3-4 days of scrolling on the forums I’ve realized that instead of wanting a decent travel set I actually NEED a micro cash travel set, and a set of Paulsons for the house, probably another set for the deer camp, definately one for my in-laws condo, And maybe a loaner set For some friends.
Seriously this is such a cool hobby y’all have and a great community you have formed. I look forward to learning from y’all.

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you got the chip itch just from the visuals! Get lots of samples to try on hand before making any large purchases, and take some time to search the forum for various set break down options before purchasing. Also, I recommend investing in a decent table (even if it's something that can be traveled with) if you don't have one, prior to investing in lots of chip sets. Oh, and make sure you get a hot dog roller and a nacho cheese dispenser!

Cheers!

Welcome man! I can already tell - you be goin down HARD! LOL!

This place is either and addiction or a disease. I haven't figured out which yet. Just shout out in any and all threads and there are people here who will answer all your questions. In fact, you're most likely to get 3-6 DIFFERENT answers to many questions, and then you will be more confused than you are now!

One more thing, before you get ALL those various sets picked out and in hand, be sure to pick up an Apache travel case from Harbor Freight for all your portability needs.

Being from neighboring georgia, i didn't think you could get any lower than alabama.... j/k, j/k, roll tide!

Welcome, and be forwarned that this rabbit hole is a very deep one. First words of advice: search/read a lot, ask questions for answers you can't find, and get samples before deciding or buying.

You had me at hotdog roller. I need one that will fit deer sausage too.

We are as far south as you can go before your toes get wet.

I am a sucker for those pelican style cases. That’s a great idea.

Love the Gulf Shores area of AL. Wife and I vacationed there for a few days in 2019 and plan to come back often!

Very good, like to hear it. Get any good kills this year?
I did. We hunt right on the Kansas Oklahoma border. It’s pretty close to the Tonkawa. So that would be a sweet set for the deer camp one day.
Here’s a pic of the one I got this year.
