Holy cow, lots of replies! I'll be doing a lot of searching and learning here. Just an expanded bit about me in regards to poker below.
Back when the poker boom hit, places around town started having a lot of texas holdem freeroll tournaments. I pretty much played 5-6 days a week! Usually they would have WSOP events on tv, so it was even more fun. Add to this some home games with friends. Fast forward what, 16 years (yikes!) and I'm getting back into playing. I'd visit a casino once or twice a year for cash game time, and still some home games, but that was it. I'm excited to replace the only chip set I ever got with something decent, so I can maybe host some games in the near future.

I lived in or near Richmond until 2009 then came out here to Phoenix, but once a Hoosier always a Hoosier, I guess.

Like everyone always says, get samples! You'll save $ that way, but you're going to spend it on chips here anyway.

Oh, believe me, in the past 5 years I've casually looked at a lot of chips but just couldnt pull the trigger based upon how much I'd use them. Would love to host games, but I'll need a few more things to get started. A good chip and set of cards just make the game so much better, in my opinion. From what I've seen on this forum there is so much good information and some products I didnt even think of!

I've got my eye on some samples already!!
