hello all, just getting the chip bug back after a few years hiatus. seems like things have changed...i’m regretting all the casino paulsons i passed on @ $1/chip!! anyway, after several years where it was hard to get a game going, plo has sparked a home game frenzy in my city, so will be looking to add to my terribles st jo cash set...or sell it?? and go custom ccs. and a possible addition to my pharaohs cc to start. will be looking for anyone interested in trading my light green/light pink 25s for your green/dark pink 25s. i also have a barrel or 2 of the brownish 1k. they do not mix well with the originals. however, they seem more durable

Welcome!

My vote is to ditch all the ccs and build out your ST JO set.

that was the plan until i browsed the classifieds. seems like all the non mint st jos are being hoarded lol. my ccs are for tourneys only, just looking to even the color out. i am considering custom labels for the st joes if i can find decently priced 5s and some kind of pink snappers or cheap solid rhc for quarters (worst inlay ever imo). right now we are using pgi gw greys for quarters..nobody else cares, but it drives me nuts lol. tried raising the blinds to avoid the greys, but the majority of the crowd are opposed to 1-2 plo

If you find it hard to build out the set then just sell them and buy something else. St. Jo should have pretty good value at the minute.

Since you have been out of the game for a while there are Horseshoe Cleveland and Horseshoe Cincinnati chips available for pretty cheap. I don't love the colors/mold but you can get a set of casino quality chips for a reasonable price.

thanks man, i missed these. snappers would make a good quarter if i relabel. if i do that, not planning on an inlay removal, just thin vinyl
