First timer here and happy to have found this site... Came across my old chip collection of TR King Rounders chips and Paulson Vineyards and more the other day that I had forgot about for almost 15 years. This site has so many knowledgeable members and have greatly appreciated the assistance on realizing my collections value.

Any idea on these...300 Chip set 300 total 75-$25, 100-$1, 100-$.50, 25-$5 bought this set for a friend a few years ago and just wondering what they might be worth...thank you all Nash

Can some share what makes the TRk Rounders fracs so desirable.
I apologize if I'm going too basic.

TRK is no longer a company, and therefore no longer making chips. The TRK Rounders was a Group Buy, so the numbers are potentially way smaller than any casino. With any Group Buy, fracs are usually the smallest number ordered.

Also the exact numbers could be lost.

Welcome fellow Austinite and chipper! Are you in the northern or southern part of the city? Where do you usually play?

Up in round rock and my playing days are long gone. May play 1-2x year now with golf buddies if I’m lucky. Life and kids, but was cleaning out my closet and found all my chips from 15yrs ago and appears they were quite the investment.

Right on. I'm right on the border of Cedar Park/Austin/Round Rock myself. Things around here have changed a lot with the introduction of poker rooms. The Lodge in RR seems to be one of the more popular ones even if they have some of the worst chips around.

Love your collection of chips. You've got to get them in play more often :)

I’d love to play more but find myself enjoying the occasional home game much more. Many years ago we’d (buddies) would go to vegas 3-4yr and never left the poker room or piagow table. Quickly realized not disciplined enough and talk too much in that setting. Much easier to load my friends up with a few drinks and play the player at the house.

Home games are where it's at. Playing with buddies and having a few drinks to end the week is my preferred place to play too. My wife sometimes asks, "Do you guys have a game every week now?" It's more than just the poker and chips, it's just about catching up with old buddies.

Back when we were younger and mostly single it was easy to get a game every week. Now we're older and most of us with kids so breaking free is harder to do.
