He’s 8months old and I have been away from this sacred forum for too long!

I had my fourth baby 4th of July.

Spend as much time with them as they will handle, as they age. My kids are all teenagers now, and quality time together seems few and far between. So when he or she is 8 and wants to shoot hoops or throw the ball, do it. Work can wait.

work can always wait. Work is secondary to family.

Your work will never remember the nights you worked late, but your kids will always remember their games/activities you missed working late.
Take the time, it’s all you will ever have with them.
Even as excruciating as a kindergarten play or 5th grade band concert can be it’s still the world to them.
