While the CDI 98 were used in some movies (Hard Eight, Owning Mahowny), the actual screen used CDI $500 chips were pink. So it is possible that it was used, but not JB and WTF DRILL?

The CDI98 were never a movie prop. They were made 9 years after the movie premiered.

The chips above, even if they were commissioned by the production design team, did not appear in the movie either, except for a single still shot in the opening title sequence.

Isthmus City doesn't exist. It was a made-up name in a fictional country based on Panama.

Correct that most were only in the opening sequence, the very boring $5k and $10k plaques were what Bond bet with. I believe that the $500 may have also been on the table, left and right of the plaques. Someone can look if they care to prove me wrong (or right).
