I am not a gamer and came across this forum in a Google search. Over the years I have looked online for another one of these but have yet to come across one even remotely similar. I have attached a photo of a lamp I purchased in 1998 constructed out of spec casino dice. It was manufactured by Paul-Son Gaming Supplies. For a short period of time, Paul-Son had a very small retail store mid-strip across the street from Circus-Circus or close to the Sahara. The story the person who worked at the store told me, was a production worker with some idle time began experimenting creating things out of the rejected dice. Mainly tables and lamps. He figured out the manufacturing process and Paul-Son opened this retail store to sell them. However, I don't think it was opened for very long. I purchased the lamp as a graduation gift for myself when I graduated UNLV. The dice tables were sweet but outside of my meager funds. So, I bought the lamp and while visiting family probably a year later I had a little more discretionary funds. I went to the store, and it was closed.

I have never seen anything like it, but I don't game so I am novice with respect to gaming collectibles. The only thing I have ever seen made out of casino die were jewelry boxes. In the mid-1990's, there was a gentleman who made casino dice jewelry boxes which were sold at the Gamblers General Store. When he died, they no longer had a source so no more dice jewelry boxes. The lady at GGS said they tried to find someone else to supply them but had no luck. I do have a bill of sale to prove its authenticity as manufactured by Paul-Son.

My question for this forum is has anyone ever seen another one of these lamps or tables in their gaming travels? Yes, I know it's bad ass and I am not getting rid of it just curious as to it's originality and uniqueness.

Very cool lamp! I’ve never seen anything like it that I can remember and I’ve been around these forums for quite a while!
Too bad you didn’t buy a bunch of chips along with that lamp back in the day!

You could probably make your own. It's really just a shell of dice around a normal table lamp, perhaps stripped down a bit.
I was gonna say, you could definitely make these with enough patience, dice, and adhesive. Just add lamp kit. You don't even have to start with a complete lamp.

i was at that store ....i didnt see or remember the lamp .... but i did buy some round dice .... if you remember those.... now if i could find them
