Good morning,
I received a shipment of cards from Kardwell. Amongst them were a blue and burgundy set of Kems. In the product description, nothing was mentioned that they were used, or seconds. They appear to have all 4 corners of both decks trimmed. Has anyone run across this or know why they are like this?

Were they cello wrapped like a new deck? Do they otherwise appear to be new and unplayed?

They were cello wrapped. The cello was a bit brown tinged. The cards themselves were in mostly random order. I figure they're used. I'm just a bit disappointed that they were not advertised as such. Ah well.

These are so called "seconds" meaning there are slight imperfections on the backs of cards...
They usually cheaper... How much did you pay if I may ask?
And I have seen decks with trimmed corners but never on seconds...

I paid $29.50. They do sell a set of seconds for $ 14.50.

Kardwell (where I got these), sells the same double blue seconds deck. I did email Kardwell and we'll see what they say. I'm not really that put out by it. It was just a bit odd. If nothing else, I now have 2 pre USPCC Kem decks. One deck was made in 1995, the other 1996.
