Anyone know what the $1 chips look like at either? Both are about 2 hours from me. Could do some harvesting if they are nice.

I thought I read somewhere that cherokee got rid of the thc 1. If that's still the chip I want 300, I dig it.

This was still the $1 as of August. You’re probably going to need to do some serious cleaning. They are filthy on site lol.

Do they have cash games there? Is it easy to get a rack or 1s from the cage or poker room?

Yes, they have a nice cash room upstairs. I can’t remember if they spread a limit game, but I don’t think it would be terribly hard to find someone who will give you racks. I’ve never tried to harvest though.

My buddy grabbed me some from cherokee the other day. I'll clean em and post pics. If anyone wants them they seem pretty easy to get other than the 6 hour round trip for me.

Probably for blackjack. I can't imagine they'd use a $2.50 for a rake drop.

Side question, are there pretty much always NL cash games running there? We have been playing with the idea of heading up there early in the morning on a Saturday, but most poker players have weird sleeping schedules, so we were not sure if anyone would be playing at 8am

At 8 am on a standard Saturday there will probably be one table going for $1/$2 NLHE. Later on during the day there will be multiple running with also $2/$5 and various Omaha games.

Nah, I like being an elitist, its not a bad thing and you have 2200 in front of you so you are balling, also a good thing, I just can't risk that much.... yet.

So a little better towards the end, just no good cards or flops for me. Ended up -$100 for the four hour session on 1/2 table. I managed to get a rack of used chips and scored a new rack (previously ultrasonicly cleaned) also!

Last time I went I asked for 2 racks to sort through and kept 20 turned in the 180. They told me to ask at the main cage, he thought they had new ones in there. This was 4 months ago. Good snag on the less worn rack. Ultrasonic cleaner does wonders for them

For the mild colors that’s a super cool color scheme and I would definitely consider it in the future for a relabel esp as a THC nice find!

So, once home and upon closer inspection they are not new. They must have been cleaned and are in pretty great shape but edges don’t lie...

They will take a label and look awesome. Now how to use them..
