Thanks MikeE,
I know ceramics don't get much love around here (I mean back at the other forum), but it was a great sale by Jim at the Chip Room.
I do love the live quarters I got to fill it out, they fit nicely into the set.
Very nice! I like your Isle quarters, too. They go nicely with the Hard Rocks. Looking at ChipGuide.com, the Isle chips appear to be live chips. Where did you get them? Did you harvest them from the Isle casino yourself by chance?
I had two sets of the Hard Rocks from Jim - a used 1,000+ chip set (including a rack of 80x $500 and 20x $1000), and a new 820 chip set (100x $1, 300x $5, 200x $25, 100x $100, 80x $500, 40x $1000). I recently sold the used set to a friend, but plan to keep the new set. They're a great colorful set that gets a lot of compliments.
Yeah, I posted the whole story over at the other site, but the quick answer is, I walked up to the cage asked for a rack of .25s and $25.00(+$5.00 tip) later I had a rack.
I was just shocked I didn't get tackled going out.
