Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers out there. Being a dad is a great gig. Its a little bit like work sometimes, but damnt if it isn't one of the most rewarding things to do.

Colleen had to work at 8. I got up at 7 to drink some coffee, hang out with her. Didn't get to bed until two, but that was my own doing. My son left for work about an hour ago. I have the house to myself until about 430. I'm cooking a 4 lb pork tenderloin for my parents. Going the low and slow route on the charcoal grill. Its been in a brine for the last 30 hours. We'll see how it turns out. Add in some baked/grilled potatoes, zukes, kale salad and home made slaw and we'll be having a feast tonight!!!

In the mean time I'm going to relax, and hang out with the dogs.

This looks like fun. I went with my son who had won a contest. We flew to San Fransisco to see Metallica at the Cow Palace. It was a closed full rehearsal before their Death Magnetic tour. Nothing like some great music with your kids!!!

Spent the afternoon at the pool with the family, then had soft serve and walked around historic Ellicott city. Going to fire up the grill shortly and enjoy a cold one.

@WedgeRock - the kids should have all been giving the middle finger for that one, given the Chicago traffic and all, lol. (ok, hang loose is way better and more appropriate!) Cool day for you guys! Hope it was fun man.
 
MD crabs and beer with the whole family... wife, 3 kids and 2 grandkids
It doesn't get any better than that in the "land of pleasant living"
