Used a chip size hole cutter. Sanded down the plug and stuffed in grippy material to hold the chip from spinning in the recess. Working pretty well so far. Only one murder in 4 barrels so far.

The magnate bit everyone on here tends to use. Works well.

Only real issues I've had are:

1) ensuring the jig I built was flat. Took a little careful sanding of the plug.
2) ensuring there was enough of the grippy material to prevent spinning without causing too much "give" when the bit pressed on the chip. ***this changes due to wear on the chip- older chips needed more help not to spin ***
3) my wife looking at me like I'm farking nuts when she comes home and I'm sitting in the garage with ventilator mask on

Overall, I'd recommend trying milling if you're at least semi handy and into learning new stuff and have some time (couple hours to get set up, and about 3 barrels an hour from there.) Wouldnt recommend it if you're just curious.
