Grateful Dead—Tribute to a True Head (1 Viewer)

I know there are some Dead Heads on PCF, and if any of you are active on Twitter you’ve probably come across Twitter user @ThoughtsOnGD, who ran a blog Thoughts on the Dead. His name was Rick Harris, and tragically he passed away yesterday at the very young age of 46 after a tremendously brave battle with aggressive cancer.

I can’t say for sure whether he was a gambler, but he was great at making friends online and would’ve had a great time here. More importantly, he was one of the finest writers I’ve ever encountered and is a must-read for any Grateful Dead fan.

Always sad to hear of someone passing. Cancer is a son of a bitch! I don’t know who he was but will check out the blog.

The Dead obviously brought him joy as they did for many others over the years and continue to do so.
