Looking to purchase a poker table for home games. I wanted to spend a bit more than the cheaper tables in the 3-500 dollar range, but not looking to spend thousands of dollars either.

I discovered Gorilla Gaming poker tables, and they appear to be of good quality, customizable, and fit in that mid range price for me (~$1,600).

Anyone here have any experience with their tables, and is willing to share a quick review?

Thanks!

I have a friend that purchased a gorilla gaming table, with the GG folding legs. The table is well made and sturdy, and the folding legs are the best in the business. I have the GG folding legs on my own table. They are very sturdy, which is necessary for a heavy table. If u need folding legs, the GG folding legs are a must buy.

I have another friend who went with the kidney shaped table from BBO poker tables. This table is very nice too, but more expensive than the basic GG table.

I don’t think u can go wrong buying from either GG or BBO.

I've not done business with BBO, but there are some threads to read through, there is some bad feedback for BBO

I have the full dealer rail 96in x 44in table... its awesome! A very sturdy quality table. I went with the casino gaming suede and I requested open cell foam for my playing surface. IMO closed cell foam is too firm... its harder for the dealer to shuffle and harder to peel up your cards.

I will say that we squeeze 10 players with full time dealer and its very tight.... 9 players + dealer is much more comfortable. if your gonna routinely have 10 players i would recommend going bigger. But again the table itself is a very good table

I have 2 of their tables - full oval and pub size - and another on the way.

I’ve moved them both across country with nary a scratch - very durable and very stable with the Gorilla legs.

Only wish is that the custom felt was speedcloth and would slide better, but not much of a concern with the smaller pub table where we play 7 max for circus mixed games.

It didn’t fit correctly. Ensure they show photos and a video of the shuffler inside the table, with the felt, flush and working before shipping it to you.

I had to do significant modifications with a saw on the table + the bracket to get it to fit.

If inget it, I would order it from gorilla with it installed on a table.

It doesn’t come installed with the table. You have to re install it. They just prep it.

It sits in this funky bracket they can’t ship. And when I went to reinstall, the hole they cut out didn’t fit.

Hence get a video of it working with ur exact table before they ship.

Thanks for the tips!

I ordered a Gorilla Gaming table on June 30. Still waiting for pictures of the finished table. When I ordered they told me they were 6-8 weeks out. It's been just over 8 weeks so I'm not getting impatient yet. I'm hoping to get those pictures and having it shipped out this week. I will post pictures and a review here when I get it.

Did you get your table yet? I’m 10 days past, approved art for the felt and haven’t heard anything in a while.

This would be amazing. $10k+ lol.

Anyone got pics of their custom made tables?

Anyone have experience with the Gorilla swing-out cup holders?

It looks like the cups are removable from the ring. This would be preferable for players who are not using a cup holder—to be able to retract the ring support into/under the table, without the cup holder protruding several inches down.

Curious if anyone has this feature on their Gorilla table.

FWIW, further to the Gorilla Illuminati Full table shape... I ran a calculation at the site below, and the shape appears to be almost exactly the same as a superellipse with the following parameters (94 x 46, 2.33 “n” curve value).

The parts of the Gorilla table shape which extend outside the superellipse seem tiny. The slight variation may just be a rendering thing, or they may have bumped out the corners very slightly. The table curve seems just bit more angular if you look closely.

Have you played on a table like that?
If so, how many seated and what’s your thoughts?

I built a super-elliptical a few years ago, and I like the shape a lot better than a standard racetrack. Fits up to 9 comfortably, better site lines, easier dealing by players, less reaching.

Thanks. I can’t stand not being able to see the other players.

Share a pick if you can. Would like to see it.
