Hello I'm a chip collector and specialize in Grand Opening chips world wide. I'm new to this Forum.
I collect mainly $5 GO's but sometimes values up to $10 if the casino didn't issue a $5.
Through this forum I'm hoping to contact fellow chippers who can help me find some of the about 80 to 90 GO's that I'm missing in my collection.
I have quite a few GO traders but will also trade other chips I have for missing $5 GO's.
I'm also a member of the Casino Collectables Association.

While we do realize there are a millions of people in the Netherlands, you should know that any new member from there will likely be treated with a bit of caution and skepticism around here due to a Dutch member pulling a scam here last year for about $20k in total and then came back for more under a different username. Don’t take it personal.

I’m sorry, I did not at all mean to try to make you feel not welcome, and certainly not to say that I assume that any new Dutch member is our old ”friend” in disguise. I don’t!

My intention was only to prepare you for the fact that you may encounter some skepticism initially. I realize it didn’t come off as very welcoming.

Thank you, not a problem. As I have experienced over the many years that I'm a CCA member there are many people who love collecting and who are always happy to help each other where they can. I don't expect it will be any different here.

On the previous subject, I was one of the first who had a bad dealing with him (not scammed, just bad/weird/possible scam attempt). I called him out on it and there was big drama but eventually we closed the deal in question and all was well. We even became friendly and I helped restore his reputation and defended him when some remained skeptical. He became a fairly trusted member again and had lots of good transactions. And so, when it turned out he scammed a bunch of people for quite a bit of money, I felt really bad for helping him become legit again after our initial fall out.

Sounds like a really bad experience for you. Give someone your trust and help and then it turns out he's not worth it. What do you collect Eriks? Or am I not allowed to ask at this stage of my membership? Not quite familiar with the does and don'ts of this forum.

Read up on the ”dibs”-drama and pack chips you ship well. Other than that I think you’re good to go.
