So got a semi-quote of between $200-300 per chair. I am in Canada so the exchange kinda hurts.

Anyone ordered new? Happy?

Any Gasser options available in ND or MN, I'll be traveling through this summer.

I have 8 of these that I bought 10 years ago and are still holding up pretty well - although some have needed minor repairs from time to time.

Check your local Facebook Marketplace. Business office chairs on close out of those places come up all the time.
You can get gassers that are in great condition.

I bought some bizchair wide church chairs. They are holding up okay so far, and it has been 5 years. It looks like you found the way to buy new gassers, but used is the way to go if you can find any near you.

I submitted a quote request last week and got a response today. They now have a 30 unit minimum and they have suspended all residential sales.

I found 24 banquet chairs through Facebook marketplace for $15/chair. Definitely an upgrade from folding chairs, but not quite the quality of a gasser. I just didn't have the money to get the real ones. Not the best picture, but you can kinda see them here. My players were super happy with the small upgrade.
