Just got back from Montreal, QC and I had a blast playing with a French-suited style deck for the first time at the Casino de Montreal. The Floorman told me that they used to sell punched decks for a dollar each, but no longer do since they switched away from plastic-coated paper cards. Does anybody have an old Casino De Montreal French deck they’re willing to part with? I’d also take any 100% plastic/PVC French deck, I can’t seem to find them anywhere.

I thought that the French suited deck is the deck that we all play with... The hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs.

It was the German / Austrian deck that was different with acorns and bells and stuff.

What did the deck look like? How is it different from a standard deck?

This deck uses RDV for the court cards instead of KQJ. Roi, Dame, Valet.

But you’re right, French Suited means Clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades. What I should’ve said was French-style
