Found a sweet China Cabinet: Can I stack chips on the glass? (1 Viewer)

@Irish Of all the great advice on this thread (and thank you all for your input), yours pretty much finalized it for me.

I haven’t seen pics of the catastrophe mentioned but it made me think about other factors not just weight being a problem. I have 2 medium sized dogs and little siblings who run around the house often and one accidental thump on the cabinet could be a horrible day for me.

Storing them in the bottom area is a happy medium and I can still leave a glass shelf to display some sample sets.

Appreciate the dialogue, everybody.

I’ve got mine tucked away in a cabinet in my office. But I plan on getting a cabinet like that for my basement eventually. I think heavy glass should be able to hold them.
