Foldable table top with no middle crease. Is this possible?

Hi guys,

Just pondering the idea of a table top with no middle crease in the cloth. Is this something that is possible? All the folding tables I've seen fold outwards and have a crease in the middle. Is this because the top rail would interfere with folding inward and the cloth would either be loose or stretch and tear? I don't have the room for a full size table or table top. I need a folding one but I don't want the crease in the middle. I'm guessing its probably more for structural stability. Is the crease that big of a deal for dealing cards and them flipping over?

I can’t imagine how something could fold without having a crease. Sounds like you’re a perfect candidate for a topper.

All of my portable tables and table-tops are crease-less. Most are bi-fold designs (three main pieces connected together), which takes up less space when folded.
