Where would you rather vacation or live?
Maybe not qualified to answer this since I've spent almost no time in Colorado, but I've lived in Florida for most of the past 30 years. It has it's down side (6-7 months of brutal heat and humidity, bugs, hurricanes), but it's nice to wear shorts and a t-shirt in January while I laugh at my northern friends digging themselves out of a couple feet of snow. No state income tax here and a fairly reasonable cost of living.
Which has better poker rooms or players?
Again I can only comment on Florida. Orlando itself has no legal poker rooms, but I've got two within an hour (Orange City and Daytona), and a bunch more in the Tampa area if I'm willing to drive 1.5-2 hours one way. The play at my usual room (Orange City) seems fairly typical, though I've found some surprisingly challenging 1-2NL games there. I don't know if that's because of the difficulty of the games or my lack of skill, but the 1-2 there seems just a little bit tougher than when I play in other places.
Tampa is pretty soft, and I haven't played enough in South Florida to call it one way or the other.
Are you more afraid of dying in a hurricane or an avalanche?
Avalanche. Hurricanes are big and slow, so it's easy to see them coming and get out of the way in time.
Aspens or palms? Grizzly bears or alligators?
First question depends on whether you prefer raking leaves or climbing a ladder and cutting down fronds. Second question is gators, no contest - they'll usually leave you alone unless you !@#$ with them.
35 Celcius or Fahrenheit?
I actually like cold weather, so I have to go with Fahrenheit. I know, why do I live in Florida then? Wife, kids, friends and job are all here, and I like Disney.
Marijuana or cocaine?
Medical marijuana is legal here, though the law is stupid and overly restrictive. I expect it to be legalized recreationally within the next few years. I've never tried cocaine and have zero interest in doing so.
