It has been forever since I was in Vegas. Almost 20 years to be exact. And 9 months after my wife and I got home our daughter was born.
She is a Las Vegas creation and couldn't love her anymore.
I played a little 2/4 at the Venetian and enjoyed it very much but bought in with $190.00 and left with $80.00. Had a very good time and look forward to going back.
However the good news is from today. Put $20.00 into a slot machine at the Flamingo. Cashed out for $100.00.
Bought into their 12:00 tournament for $80.00 and finished 3rd out of 31 for $336.00.
Unfortunately my Q10 suited did not hold up against QJ. And I was 4 to the flush on the turn.
I had aces and kings twice early on. One time my aces lost to 2 pair and the other time my trip kings lost to a boat.
Could not have enjoyed myself anymore than I did. Great town, great games and great times.
