Hello Everyone, I will share some photos below of my first poker table build!

But first, I’ve got all the materials to start the upholstery; besides my rail foam.. I’m not sure exactly what to use; The “feel” of everything at the local foam store felt too soft.

Does it make sense to use closed cell foam for a rail? Any help / advice is appreciated.

Bottom outer rail will be visible - has a stain - inner part will be the playing surface.

Inner rail will lift the top rail (the vinyl piece) and since that will be visible, there is also stain on that wood as well.. one day I may add LEDs and a diffuser to this bit.

Top rail attached via nails to the outer ring of the inner raiser (if that makes sense) .. awaiting foam and then vinyl!

Thanks! Yes, could be actually... 1.86 lbs. must be a different measurement? How would this compare with the previous suggestion which is "65 lbs"

This is where the confusion set in again :p ..
I'm guessing you would compare the 1.86 to 2.0 but I'm really not sure. I think either would be a top option.

McGeachies on Douglas for foam. Welcome fellow Victorian
Hello Sir! Thanks for the note. I got him To quote me - very reasonable but I had to source the foam elsewhere and ended up doing it myself. We should do a group buy shipped to Victoria together
