Well I purchased a sample set of CPC chips. They are the first ones I have held to date. And now I have to work many overtime shifts to pay for my new set of poker chips.

Someone cancel my account before I fall into the trap.

They are lovely by the way.

So I was contemplating my draw to poker chips as a whole. And I love to fidget and poker chips are great to fidget with. I am wondering if that draw or reasoning effects anyone else

I too just got my hands on a stack of CPC sample chips for the first time, and the thing that struck me most was how well they held together in a stack. I never realized just how slippery most cheap chips are, and now they're totally ruined for me!

Just ordered my third cpc set.
8 "sets" from ASM/CPC (7 as customs) and >15k chips across these sets. I think it's safe to say I'm sold on them.

Welcome, and enjoy! Take your time designing your dream set, then run away. Run far and fast. This magic carpet ride started nearly 15 years ago for me and I can't seem to get my feet back on solid ground.

Hah! Also ordered samples of Rounders scroll and Chesterfield's some time ago, but still waiting for those :(

I also owned a couple of ASM sets. Basic hot stamp set for .40 a chip.

Same. They’re addicting. I doubt I ever buy Paulsons again

I love paulsons. They feel and sound a ton better to my ears than CPC. Pricing has gotten ridiculous. CPC it is! I have one paulson set left. I'm afraid that once its gone I'll never own another one.

I agree but like you said, pricing is silly. I have one set left as well. I just think the uniqueness of CPC outweighs Paulsons anymore. Especially since a lot of people have the exact same Paulson sets lately.

I have 2 sample sets from CPC so far - one set of CSQ Rounders and a set of 10 different inlaid 39mm samples (random choice from current inventory). The Rounders set is great and I am sooo tempted to order a cash set someday. I ordered the 10 piece set after the Rounders because I wanted to get a set just for shuffling. Unfortunately, the 10 piece ended up being a complete waste of money for me - the chips I received were of 4 different sizes (1/38.8mm, 1/39mm, 2/39.2mm, 2/39.5mm, and 4/39.6mm). I asked if they could send me 8 more of the matching 39.6mm (4 of one color scheme and 4 of another) but they said no.

"Every mold has it's own dimensions. As far as the gaming authorities (we are a casino supplier) are concerned, the definition of '39mm' means anything larger than 38mm and smaller than 40mm.
The problem is that all our factory samples are different. We don't make identical batches of anything, so don't have 4 more of those two.
They are on the same mold as the Rounders samples. The only way you could get identical chips would be to have 5 each x 2 of the Rounders denoms."

JFYI...

While there may be slight differences between the denominations, they should be identical where it counts, within the same denoms.
I recently bought a 600 set of CSQ rounders, and they’re great.
