I bought ceramic Absolute Poker chips some time ago, and have the current breakdown:

300 x 25
300 x 100
200 x 500
150 x 1,000
50 x 10,000

I use these for both cash games and tournaments. If cash games, we treat values as cents, to play 25/50 and up. I've frequently thought about filling in the gap - there seem to be NO $5K chips for these. I got to thinking if I made some coordinating fill-in chips, I could do that, then thought - maybe instead of 5,000s, I should do 2,000s or 2,500s instead to stay with the 4x-5x increase from chip to chip.

So, if I were to do a some fillers, which denomination?
Is it worth doing - i.e. what are the value of these chips currently, and is it worth spending the money on this set, vs going in another direction?
If I do fillers, what color should I go with? I think the mythical 5K chips for this set were white, but what other options should be considered?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Do you run into times in your cash games or tournaments where a $50 / T5000 chip is needed?

Not "needed" = have used 10Ks at times for rebuys, and made change at the table.

If a T5000 is required, maybe you can create it since these are ceramic chips.
