For somebody new to the forum, what're your favorite chips that price at below $.50 a chip? Based on my search in the site, it seems that royals, majestics, and other Apache chips are a good choice here. Are these good for learning to shuffle chips? Is the quality that noticeable from CPC or Paulson?

My friends who just built a table elected to get a cheaper set of outlaws off of amazon to give the impression of having something more legit than our usual dice chips, but I'm realizing that there are impression clay casino chips and then the real deal, which I suppose you probably couldn't find at <$.50 anyways.

Get yourself some samples. There are kits available to receive from other members for free evaluation, just sign up in the threads in the top of the Poker Chip General section. Other vendors sell samples of their products directly.

Do a search for “CPS”. Absolute favorite china clay to date, bar none.

They’ve done pretty well at .40 a chip, but recently have dipped from that. Last one sold in the .32-.33 range.

Low-cost ceramics. Far more durable than china clays at roughly the same price.

I would save up for SynFly hybrids and until then use dice chips.

My first decent set of chips are the CC Dunes. Still have them, still use them. I have one extra barrell of $500.00. I am happy to send 10 or so free. PM your address and i can get them out this week.
