So I'm just wrapping up the designs for my tourney relabel, and today I added some faux shaped inlays just to see what it looked like. Up to now they have been round white labels with the design on. I like the different shapes per denom, but do notice that most shaped inlays are for cash sets.

Is using shapes on a tourney set up there in the blasphemy levels, much like mixing Clay and Ceramic chips in a set? or is it fine.

Thanks!

Yeah shaped inlays are a no no on tourney sets :wtf:

I've never heard of shaped inlays only being for tourney denoms.

I think with shaped inlays you have the additional challenge of a potentially smaller sized area for the inlay design versus a regular round inlay.

Edit: Cut down my response as I thought this was just a question of shaped inlays.

Not a huge fan of shaped inlays in general, so voted "Yes, but only if..."

My dream tourney set would probably be hot stamped solids lol

Is there a resource or a post anywhere that lists all the various shaped inlays and their names?
