FAQ or Stickies? (1 Viewer)

Either my google-fu is super weak or I am really blind. I was on chiptalk years ago, found this site recently, so have been thinking about custom chips for years. I was looking for a FAQ or a sticky section but I can't find one, especially for like a vendor review. There are a lot of vendors out there but it seems most if not all people buy from only CPC? Also a lot of the vendors have changed since last I was thinking about custom chips.

Mods feel free to delete once question answered or if it's just too obvious....

CPC is the only player for custom clays. Prices have likely gone up substantially compared to what you were used to seeing back in the ASM-Maine days but David and crew put out a top notch product.

Old West Poker Supplies, ABC Gifts and Awards, and Game on Chip Company (I'm sure I'm forgetting one...maybe more?) are solid options for custom ceramics.

Didn't ABC used to do clays? I see that BCC is no more. Are these guys the same as CPC? http://www.pokerchips.com/custom-poker-chips.html They advertise custom clays, but the prices are different than http://www.classicpokerchips.com/ Which is the site you all are using?

BCC is no more - they were bought by GPI and pulled out of the home market.

Afaik, Gene @ABC Gifts and Awards has only offered ceramic chips. He also now owns the Nevada Jacks line of ceramics. Palm Gaming (PGI) and Sun-Fly are other sources for ceramic chips and plaques.

Matsui and MSK Gaming are a couple of options for acrylic jetons and plaques for the home market.

Regarding clay chips, BCC and TRK are no longer in business, and GPI/Paulson is no longer available for the home market. CPC (formerly ASM) is the only game in town. Your pokerchips.com link is simply a reseller, but classicpokerchips.com and pokerchipsonline.com are the same entity.

We used to offer "China Clays", but the labels were so time consuming that we stopped offering them.
