I was browsing thru all the awesome custom sets that have come out recently and came up with the idea of creating a fantasy mixed custom set. The only rule is you can only pick one chip from each custom set. You can mix molds and have different inlay sizes, There were a lot of difficult choices but I eventually arrived at this:

Excellent idea, and another way to waste untold hours of my time while fondling some great chips in my collection. Thanks, doc.

Note: This will be much harder than it first appears.

I did not realize it had to be one of each denom from different sets. Back to the drawing board.

This might be easier for most people using Jeff's images of sample sets, which is what intend to do....tomorrow on my train ride maybe :)?

Honored to be part of your set but funny that you picked my personal least fav boulevard chip haha. There's some mighty fine chips in thereand that colony club quarter is electric.

Very tough exercise and these could all change tomorrow, but I like this cash set line-up. Chosen as individual chips, not how they hang together as a set obv.

Then I might have 2000 of these for a limit game.

For a tourney set, this seems fun!

That would be a blast to do at a meetup. Have a night where you played cash games on multiple mixed sets!

Yeah I've had that idea for a long time now, I just can't seem to get to a meet up. Circus Maximus - circus games + mixed fantasy customs.

Holy crap is it. Although Mark gave an excellent example. His set is totally playable.

Well, that requirement isn't in the OP. Are we supposed to choose chips that work together?

I mean ultimately you can do whatever you want but I think picking a fantasy set that you could actually play is a lot more interesting of an exercise than just pick your favorite chip for each denomination.

There is no way to do this. I will have many versions and here is today's. Here is the reasoning behind the choices. I was thinking more of a Cali set, most people or the list could possibly attend the Denver meet and the set could be a reality. Plus I'd really enjoy playing with these chip owners. Pasi's is just so damn good I had to include it (come to Denver puggy). Here is version 1.0 cash - the colors of the scans suck.

It was tough to choose just one denomination from a set since most of the sets are designed to flow together...

Enjoy! Set may change tomorrow.
