Faded Spade (1 Viewer)

I just sent faded spade an email. I have the boxes, and am happy to investigate the innerds, if there are telltale markers, such as locations, etc...
Check for 'printed in Italy' on the box or jokers.

Odd there's no pictures of the numeral cards anywhere on the Faded Spade website

There are some shots of the other cards on their Twitter page...

I just think they're really trying to push their "fancy" Japanime styled face cards on their website.

No “made in” on either the cards or the packaging. Nada.

Faded spade. Secret spade.

I think that info needs to be somewhere. I cannot speak to the law aspects of it, but it seems anything produced needs to have that info somewhere.

Nothing on the cards or box. The deck is about 15-20% thicker then my Kem and DaVinci decks. Breaking them in this weekend.

Broke in the "Faded Spades" last night. Great cards, everyone enjoyed them and I'm sure is now on a few folks purchase list now. Compliments were made that they were easier to deal, no cards were sticking. Some we tend to notice with Kem. Between the DaVinci and Faded Spade decks, both are liked but the added thickness of Faded Spade felt better.

I pre-ordered a couple of brdige setups with the 20% coupon code. Should be her by the end of February. Will give them a try.

Lot of hot air in that article. Basically he had the right connections and backer money. Doesn't mean he has a better designed product. I think @desjgn has far superior designs.

Interesting height difference between the FS and the modiano PAs

Yea, I've also noticed the last couple of years the Telivised final table switches from Bridge to a Poker sized, Jumbo index of a different brand used in the tournament ... Probably due to commercial endorsement $$ Deals ... IN many TV tourns such as Borgata events, you see the Germaco & Kem bridge decks used in the shots of the bigger "field" , before the final table ... Also most Asian/foreign casinos that never historically had poker , seemed to never knew the difference, & started w/ "Poker" size ....

I believe the reason that you see poker size cards at the final table, when the tourney used a different set is because they're using RFID cards for FT and Copag/Kem etc don't seem to offer these yet.

I really like the bold type on these FS cards. I'm indifferent towards the paint card design. If they were anime inspired the eyes on the Queen would be huge and there would likely be tentacles visible somewhere. :)

Thickness is noticeable. After about 24 hours of card play the slickness seems to wear off. Great cards!

Just got an updated from them on my bridge/jumbo preorder. Looks like they are having delays due to some QC issues, and are remedying it as follows:

- They will be shipping Poker sized cards to all bridge/jumbo order recipients immediately as a temporary remedy (to match your b/j preorder size).
- Additionally, when the bridge/jumbo cards are reprinted (approx 45 days), they will be doubling everyone's original bridge/jumbo preorder quantities!

I'm digging this company...

Wish I would have purchased these when they where available now. If anyone only needs 1 set I’ll take your other set when they come.

Got that today too, pretty happy with it.

They sent poker sized setup on accident and let me keep it for free.

However, after a few plays with the deck it already seems to have fading paint. I'll withhold judgment until I have the bridge cards in hand, but I hope the cards are durable.

Didn't realize they quit taking pre-orders for the Bridge/Jumbo setups. If they really do double my original order size from 2 setups to 4 setups I can take care of you for a setup.

According to their timeline it will be end of April before they ship them so remind me if I forget by then (hell I can't remember yesterday sometimes). :)

<<<< woot, just noticed post 2000. :D

I was just in their website. They seem to be targeting the casino market yet produce Poker sized jumbo cards first(n)

Regular index bridge should have been the first produced and all I would be interest in.

Not really my taste though

Yeah if anyone has an extra setup by the end of this I'd be incredibly grateful if I could buy it. I prefer poker/regular, but really don't care.

Direct from them they are marked down to $22 and then an additional 25% off with the promo code on their site (LAPC25) so with the 5 bucks shipping they are $21.50 for a setup. Not Bicycle, Copag, or Da Vinci bargain levels, but not too terrible.
