I can't make it this year. My holidays are already booked for another US road trip this year...

I actually may be in Zurich on Friday night. Finishing a conference near Lahr, and still looking to see if flying out of Frankfurt or Zurich works better for Saturday. How far from Zurich Main would this be? Would the train run late enough or would a cab be a better option?

I'm not on call that week for work, so could work out well.

If there are people coming from abroad, or from other regions in Switzerland though, I might suggest extending the event to include at least Saturday (day and night) as well as Friday. The chance to meet some other chippers and play some cards with other PCFers would be cool.

I'll throw myself down in the maybe category for now, but chances look good atm. :tup:

I'll see if I can make it! 2 questions:

1. Is the tourney a freezeout or reentry?

2. Do you mind if I bring 1 friend/poker player along (in part, to keep me company for that beast of a drive).

New Mexico on the list? Route 66?
We already did entire Rte66. We'll redo but in a few years. But we'll probably drive a little bit on the 66 in CA and AZ (for sure I'll stop and get shaved again by Angel Delgadillo in Seligman if we choose the 2nd trip).

This time it'll be either :

LA --> LV via Joshua Tree
LV --> Death Valley
Death Valley --> Yosemite
Yosemite --> SF
SF --> LA via A1 and Monterrey from where we want to go off for whale watching. We did it in Australia on a small boat and it was an amazing experience.

Or :

LV, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Antilope, Monument Valley, Canyonlands, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Valley of Fire and back to Vegas.

We'll done one this year and the other one next year. Not yet decided on the order
