I'm going to be listing about 50 or so awesome sample sets over the next couple of days (as well as some INSANELY EPIC singles on eBay). Good luck! Please don't PM me asking which ones, as I will not respond. Stay tuned...

Set #43 - Camelot Hotel & Casino

Note: These are Lakeshore Inn chips that were rebranded as promo chips for a casino that never opened.

If I recall correctly, Camelot was going to be an AC casino and they acquired a bunch of Lakeshore chips and relabeled them. These were actual Lakeshore chips.

Correct. These were Lakeshore Inn chips that were milled and relabeled. However, I don't know how many of the Lakeshores they acquired or how many they murdered & relabeled. I was told by one of the chip dealers at the convention that these were only made as promo chips by the Camelot, and that they didn't make very many. I don't think they were intended to be used as live chips. Just as promos. Supposedly they were going to order their own chips at a later date but never got that far as the project failed.

You mean a casino actually milled their own chips?

wow

Just goes to show that there's nothing new under the sun. Murder is an occupation with a long history.

Yeah - I wouldn’t have thought a casino would do that either. In fact, for some reason I thought two casinos could not have the same chip color & edge spot design… (although if Lakeshore was defunct, it might not have mattered - lol)

This auction ends today at 8:30 pm eastern time. Good luck everyone!
