STARTING BID = $400
  1. Bids must be placed using numbers (no images), in whole dollars, and in minimum increments of $5
  2. NO RESERVE. The Starting Bid of this auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
  3. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
  4. No bid edits or bid retractions permitted. (note: ALL edits are logged instantly)
  5. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at 5PM, California Time, Sunday APRIL 26TH will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be within 5 minutes after the latest bid was posted. A bid at the close time is NOT a valid bid. Since seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, these examples will be used as a reference.
  6. I reserve the right to: 1) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; 2) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
  7. PCF (its Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
  8. Shipping Terms: Buyer Pays Both Shipping $8.00 in USA and $38 International
  9. and Insurance if Requested
  10. Payment Terms: PayPal Friends and Family

These were hand picked FOR my personal collection out of a much larger lot and are the best of the best of this chip!
This is one of my favorite chips ALL TIME and it is hard to let these go but I already sold off all of my lower denominations from this casino :(

Love these chips but I ask this as respectfully as possible: is it necessary to bump all of the old auction threads for a new auction listing?

SORRY

No, its probably not :(

This is only a little over a 24 hour auction so I was just trying to make sure word gets out.

serious question, is just posting it enough???

Yes. Just posting is enough. I’m sure everyone checks new posts and classifieds every visit.

I think most people would see it as people tend to click on new posts when browsing PCF so the new auction would definitely be at the top of the list. Seeing the old auctions bumped up may lead people to think those auctions are still live.

I do not have this auction in the classifieds, only on my Forum, any recommendations on how best to do this without being annoying is much appreciated :)

I understand your want to get eyes on these. Admittedly if they don’t have a sale/trade/auction tag on the thread it doesn’t stand out as much. Maybe update the thread title tomorrow with “ENDS TODAY” to help draw the eye

Created this image many years ago when these chips were initially sold to the public. There was debate. I think its hard to tell. Cheers

We’ll edge spots always taper inwards so even with a grand or giant inlay if the taper is towards the edge then it should be the base color no?

No...In the chips for sale here you can see the base color (purple) is tapering inwards. Consistent with the 814 sample. Cheers

oh i see what youre saying
So is this a Base color purple with 814 spots?...
WTF? As per your picture and the chip in my hand; " base color (arc yellow) is tapering inwards"

EDIT: I just reread what I paraphrased. What I mean is, the purple colour "spots" get narrower as they move towards the center, therefore they are the spots (as per picture).

Wow, I'm too stoned for this right now. I'm not too good with the numbering system, but I know an 8V. WTF is the 814?

I now understand what everyone is saying. I was experiencing spot dyslexia for a moment.
