I’m going up to Boston mid April. Too bad the casino won’t open up until Summer. That Poker Room will be so packed with all the College kids and then all the other New Englanders. Will definitely hurt Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun rooms.

They're going to have a 4am liquor license which will be 1-3 hours later than any other bar/club in Boston so yeah TONS of drunk college kids and bar goers. I live about a 4 minute drive (10 minute walk) away in Charlestown so I'll definitely be hunting some drunk fish in the poker room

My guess is they will use house mold.
They're scheduled to open Sunday, June 23rd but they're a little behind with the rooms. I know a guy who has a buddy that goes in there on Sundays to lay carpet. He works for 8 hours, gets $850 and can only do 2 rooms. They have to use a laser to put it down because of the pattern on the rug. This I have to see.

Especially if you don't have a resident tag. The no free parking could be the the city wanting to make money on the parking. In AC many years ago when I was a kid I remember parking being free and then at some point the City of AC wanted to charge a parking fee as a parking tax or something to get extra revenue for the city.

As @phaze12 said commuters would definitely take advantage of this I’ll just be surprised how they manage to do it. @PAZ is the no free drinks word of mouth or do you know if they’ve mentioned it in a press release? I know Springfield MGM gives out drinks so maybe Wynn just knows people in Boston will still come and pay for drinks. Prices will still probably be better than $12 budlights at most of the “clubs” here.
Probably not a Typo. In the city of Boston hotels are going 250+ easy. Hotels at casinos are usually close to 200+ in the remotest of locations unless you are a player who gambles enough..

While that measure failed, the casino bill signed into law does allow casinos to offer free alcohol to gamblers from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Yes but the Casino's will always charge a way higher rate than a normal Hotel. Even at Foxwoods the rooms are 400+ on the weekends. When me any my friends went for a meetup we stayed at a Marriot near by less than 5 minutes for close to $100 and the hotel had a 24 hour shuttle to the Casino. In AC most Casino rooms are 300+ or so on the weekends. That $777 I don't think I lot of normal people would pay it. A lot of those rooms will go to comping players or to high rollers.

So... I still couldn’t find anything definitive about whether they’ll allow drinking past 2am or anything about comped drinks but I did find their hotel prices which start at $495 on off season weekdays to $1,095 during in season weekends. No idea what’s going on Nov 4 but Mon-Wed prices jump to $1,995 for those 3 nights.

No in no shape to do that. My son has Spring Break that week and he’s never been to Boston at age 6. We’ll go to Aquarium, Children’s Museum, etc. My Nephew is also Graduating from BC in May. We’re going to visit him and take him out for a nice Steak Dinner as we can’t make it in May. We’ll miss Patriots day as we’ll leave on Easter Sunday. I’m an NU guy so we’ll check out the Campus too. We’ll drive by BU on the way up at the end of the Mass Pike and I’ll tell my son look at the school you’ll never be alliowed to attend.
