Does anyone have one of these? I see they have come a long way. Some of them can go up to 40-50mph!! yikes. I want to get a good one for me and the wife, but I do not want to drop $4k!! Let me know your experiences with these.

This guy can go 44mph with a range of nearly 30mi. $2,290!!

I'm barely in my 50s, yet when I opened this thread I expected this:

Just make sure that your medical insurance is paid up. Most people over 25 can't even ride a manual one without dislocating a shoulder, breaking their wrists, or getting serious road rash. Add in a 40 mph rocket on top, and I can only imagine the hospital bills piling up!

BTW, I always called those things Razers. Scooters bring to mind the three wheel version above, or Vespa-like 2 wheelers (check out the Who's Quadrophenia - the movie - for some tricked out models)
