Edge of a CPC A-mold color sample:

The edge appears "sharp" all the way to the face.

Edge of Paulson RHC Horseshoe SI $1:

All of my minty paulson's have a chamfered edge that often smears a little color in one direction. ~150u width (too small to resolve the chamfer until >3-4x magnification)

CPC zoomed out to the point my shaky hand stops blurring the focus :/ ;and has no chamfer

Paulson zoomed out:

These are the two chips at at normal scale :)

The Paulson still has some plastic cotton(?) poking out of the edging also, just a whole lot less often:

I did some photos a couple weeks back at 30x and 60x of used Paulsons. There were tons of fibers sticking out of flea bites. I didn’t realize these were cotton fibers.

If the edges are sharp- you’re doing it wrong. They meant to be played. Not locked away.

has anyone tried polishing these down? something like magic eraser or something that could make it even smoother? Leather maybe?
