Seller has lots of these:

If anybody stumbles upon a 25c chip from this casino, I'll pay good $$$$$. Just one.

I believe there was some reverse psychology going on in another thread about these to drive up the price. (or maybe not )

I was hoping to help avoid a bidding war over the early racks which would obviously increase the price of future racks.

Looks like his newest listings are asking $400/rack.

I don’t think so. I’m talking to the seller today about the lot but I may not bother at this point. Once they get on ebay and see those stupid prices it’s hard to get them off. (Yeah...out of context thread, I know.)
What price were you discussing? Something like $150/rack for the entire inventory? Did he say how big his inventory was?

Dear Lord, these are going to look phenomenal once they've been put through an ultrasonic. Hope somebody here snags them.

Probably have 45 PCFers out of the 50 people watching these now so I’m guessing it’ll happen :D

Apologies, wasn't trying to stir the pot by bringing more attention to this thread — they are beauts though.

No need to apologies I was just joking that it’s already got everyone’s attention and yes they are!

How is this a circus? Other than paying ebay's 10%, seller is going to get market value. Seller's listings are all over the place (auction here, BIN there, 100 chips here, 200 over there, oops now there are 10) I will admit that.

Each new listing comes out higher, so either the seller is finding a truer market value, or will soon surpass it and then they will sit unsold. They will not be a "deal" anymore though - that ship has sailed. I can buy chips at "market value" all day, to me, eBay is more fun for those "deals" you can sometimes get.

What if this seller has 100,000 chips? The first few racks maybe get $400/rack, but then the rest sit or eventually get heavily discounted. Who knows.
